Before I discovered my passion for physical activity, healthy emotional regulation and spirituality, I was in a similar boat, surrounded with rocky and unsure waters. I started exercising regularly at 14, hoping to change my outward appearance. Instead, I developed an obsession with exercise, calorie counting and crazy diets that left me feeling worse and worse.
I tried all kinds of sports and training and compared myself to others, thinking “Why do I ALWAYS have the SAME RESULTS?”
This constant comparison and internal abuse made me miserable and did nothing to make me feel better in my skin. I developed anxiety and felt unhappy, frustrated and inadequate – the exact opposite of the person I wanted to be…
Something magical happens when you begin to focus on your well being instead of your appearance.
I replaced grueling workouts with yoga and intuitive movement. I read Personal Development books that helped me look within and inspired me to invest in myself in other ways like attending courses and seminars.
I took a Break, I sold everything, and I traveled the world.
With my new self awareness, I began to show up for myself in a way I didn’t know was possible. I slowly realized that what was holding me back were traumas and narratives that ran on repeat in my mind. I faced those limiting beliefs head on and began to advocate for myself. Before I knew it, my mind became calmer, my spirituality more secure and my body leaner and more mobile.
I was once like you – constantly tired, depressed with what I saw in the mirror with no beliefs to ground me. I felt like something was missing, but could never put a finger on what. When I began to look within, everything started to make sense and development and acceptance soon followed.
I learned to love myself as I am and appreciate what my body can do, what my mind can overcome and what my spirit draws towards me.
Since developing this approach that incorporates the body, mind and spirit, my life has completely transformed into one I’m delighted to live.
It wasn’t an overnight change, but through consistent effort and small adjustments, I was able to revitalize myself and reach my goals – and I want to share this knowledge with YOU.
